TLDR: great location, good service, super clean, a bit tiny but bearable, close to the LGBT district, ignore the low star reviews (they improved), this will be my go to hotel if I’m coming back to Japan! As an American I base off of locations and places with reviews but this kinda blew my expectations. This was my first ever stay in Japan and I was super happy with this hotel. They had great staff to help us check in. I love how they change and clean the rooms every night with fresh towels. Stayed on the 4th floor. Very clean hotel! I used the bath tub as a jacuzzi at this hotel was nice and relaxing after 10 hours of walking and exploring. The location is great! It’s close to the train stations so you can pretty much go anywhere and not use uber or taxi so many restaurants and convenient stores near by. If you wanna grab breakfast or late night snacks. It’s close to the gorgeous shinjuki gyeon national garden which I recommend. We wanted to stay in a LGBT district and it was close to the bars, bathhouses, and clubs! Felt very safe around the area even at midnight! There’s a laundry mat right across the hotel so if you wanted to do laundry it’s there and convenient! Have a lot of outlets to plug and charge multiple electronics. They have a fridge which was nice. Improvements: it’s tiny only recommend this place if you have 2 guests. Anything more it might be too tight!

Great location not far from the Shinjuku-gyoemmae train station that allowed us to easily travel to Shibuya, Ginza, Joypolis and more. We stayed for 3 nights at the end of our trip so were winding down by then but still appreciated the conveniences and amenities in the surrounding neighourhood. Could walk to the main area of Shinjuku and loved that the Shinjuku Goyen National Park was so close by. Beautiful gardens with lots of cherry blossoms. Staff held our luggage before and after check in and assisted with a taxi upon our departure. We were able to open up our suitcases and keep two off them like this under the bed and just pull them out like a drawer when needed so this kept the floor space clear of obstacles. Had reverse cycle ac/heating. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed having a small fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Great amenities in bathroom and shower water pressure was great. My daughter really enjoyed the spa bath too.

Really surprised at how well our stay here was after reading some negative reviews. Staff was very helpful & accommodating when my group of 6 checked in and made any additional requests. They also booked our rooms next to each other as requested which was great. Rooms were clean and cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful, and brought us towels or any additional items we requested. Bathrooms are HUGE and very accommodating for 2 people. Overall would recommend staying here if you're on a budget and want to be in a central part of Tokyo. It's surrounded by tons of restaurants, bars, shops, and coffee spots and it's easy to get to and from the different subway locations nearby.

The location was great - close to central Shinjuku without being busy, and right near the park. There were lots of good places to eat nearby, and it was pleasant to walk into Shinjuku. The bathroom was really large, with a big bath so we could relax after a big day of walking around the city. The hotel provided us with a cot for our baby, and it was a good one. The room was clean, and had space for our things. The beds were a good size, and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, which was great as it was very hot outside. The hotel had a large secure space for storing our luggage before checkin and after checkout

Have stayed here twice now due to its great location and spacious rooms. The hotel is a short walk from both Shinjuku Gyoemmae station and Shinjuku Sanchome station, which means you don’t have to navigate the complexities of Shinjuku Station. The rooms are clean and very large compared to other typical hotels rooms, which means you can easily store and open your luggage without any issues.
